Several players were recently named to all-regions teams in their respective regions.
The Union Yellowjackets had their Region 5-3A teams released as well, and they were well represented.
Leading the way for the Yellowjackets was senior quarterback Kenyon Clay, who was named the Overall Player of the Year for the region. Clay finished with 132 points and 1,043 yards rushing on 140 carries despite being hurt for four games this season. Clay was also selected to play in the Mississippi-Alabama All-star football game as well for the Yellowjackets and is expected to sign with Southern Mississippi in the December signing period.
He is joined by Cameron Pascal, who was named the Most Valuable Offensive Lineman and Ky’Yon Harris who was named the Most Valuable Safety.
Also making the 5-3A first team was Eli Rigdon, Tristan Wallace, Carlos Hickmon, Nate Killen and Dayton McDonald.
On the 5-3A second team was Zach Collins, Kaleb Casey, Cameron Jackson, Williams Hughlett and Tank Haralson.
