Sherry’s Catering cut the ribbon for its new location on Sunday, Oct. 14, at 2 p.m. An open house was then held from 2-4 p.m. showcasing many of the specialties that are included in the vast list of food items available for many different occasions. The open house was a great success with a beautiful day and a wonderful crowd.
Owner Sherry Smith said she was incredibly grateful for the support the Decatur community has shown her, her husband, Bobby, and two children, Hunter (Jodie) and Hannah (Gavin).
“I would like to thank the city and the people of Decatur for the love and support that has been shown to Bobby and me since we moved here,” she said. “We love Decatur.”
Sherry has over over 20 years of catering experience and specializes in various events including wedding parties, dinners, luncheons, etc. She also takes orders and sells casseroles. She is the only full-time employee, but employs as many as 15 – 20 on different occasions.
