Newton County Youth Organization will host a fall league for youth softball and baseball this year. Registration is now open for ages 4-12. Forms can be found on the Newton County Youth Organization Facebook page and can be filled out and dropped off at Top Shelf Nutrition in Decatur during business hours. Uniform orders for fall ball can be completed at Big G grocery store.
The league will hold registration days at the Newton County Elementary School gymnasium on Thursday, August 8 and Tuesday, August 13. Along with registering to play, the uniform supplier, Big G, will be on-site for those dates to allow players to get sized for uniforms and register in one location.
The final day to register for the 2024 fall league will be Tuesday, August 13. Following this date, teams will be drafted and practices will be scheduled. Games are tentatively scheduled to begin mid-September.
While practices and games will be held in Decatur, kids from around the county are encouraged to be a part of the 2024 fall ball season with NCYO.
