Newton County and Scott County crowned their 2026 Miss Hospitality titleholders during a ceremony held Saturday, Feb. 7, at the East Central Community College library.
The event recognized both the county winners, Mary Lee Gregory (Newton County) and Allee Anders (Scott County) and their “Little” representatives, celebrating the young women selected to serve as spokeswomen for their communities. Each winner will advance to represent her county at the Mississippi Miss Hospitality Competition in July 2026.
The Miss Hospitality Program, established in 1949, is the state’s oldest scholarship program for young women. Its mission is to promote tourism, economic development and goodwill throughout Mississippi by selecting participants who demonstrate leadership, service, academic achievement and a welcoming spirit.
