Ms. Joan Richardson, age 87, of Union, passed away on Friday, Feb. 5, 2021.
Services for Ms. Joan Richardson will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 at County Line Baptist Church. Burial will be at County Line Cemetery. Bro. Bobby Barfoot and Kenny Joe Bankston will be officiating in the service.
Visitation will be held 1-2 p.m. on Monday at the church prior to the service.
Ms. Joan was a lifetime, faithful member of County Line Baptist Church. She will always be remembered by her delicious chocolate brownies.
Ms. Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Hoss Richardson; two sisters, Jean Hamil and Ruby Posey; two brothers, Staff Bankston and Kenneth Bankston.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy Smith (Melvin) of Purvis; one son, Kevin Richardson of Union; one granddaughter, Erin Walker (Josh) of Brandon; one great-granddaughter, Ava Walker of Brandon; one special brother-in-law, Ray Hamil of Union. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Kenny Joe Bankston, Billy Bankston, Danny Hamil, Timmy Hamil, Josh Walker and Melvin Smith.
Honorary pallbearers are Ray Hamil, Larry Hamil and Scotty Posey.
