The Union Yellowjackets got in two games last week, falling in both contests.
Union lost 16-14 to Sebastopol on Monday and then fell 11-3 to Neshoba Central on Thursday.
Union series with Scott Central was postponed because the Rebels are in quarantine. The games will be made up on Monday, April 12 in a division doubleheader.
Union will return to play on Tuesday as they host Newton and then will travel to Newton on Friday. Union will then host Forest on Saturday in a 2 p.m. contest.
Sebastopol 16, Union 14
The Bobcats drew 15 walks and took a two-run win over the Yellowjackets on Monday.
Union scored two in the top of the first but Sebastopol answered with four in the bottom of the first and one in the second to lead 5-2. Union the scored one in the top of the fifth and Sebastopol scored three in the bottom of the fifth to lead 8-3. Union then exploded for nine runs in the top of the sixth to take a 12-8 lead. But Sebastopol answered with eight runs in the bottom of the sixth to retake the lead at 16-12. Union added two more runs in the top of the seventh.
Union had 13 hits as Jaylon Buckley was 3-for-5 with a double, home run, two runs scored and three RBIs. Rope Lovern was 2-for-3 with a home run and four RBIs while Kolton Cockerham was 2-for-4 with two runs scored. Preston Germany was 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored and two RBIs while Zack Carnell was 2-for-3. Peyton Posey walked three times and scored two runs while Kenyon Clay scored twice.
Union used five pitchers as Henry Thornton, Carnell, Riley Martin, Tristan Wallace and Jacob Moore all threw for the Yellowjackets.
Neshoba Central 11, Union 3
Neshoba scored two in the first, four in the second and three in the third while Union scored one in the first and two in the third as the Rockets led 9-3. Neshoba added two in the seventh for the final margin.
Neshoba outhit Union 15-3 in the contest. Peyton Posey doubled and drove in a run while Rope Lovern singled and drove in two runs.
Jaylon Buckley pitched four innings and gave up eight runs on 10 hits and three walks while striking out three. Preston Germany pitched three innings and gave up two unearned runs on four hits and two walks.
