Mrs. Carol Lee, age 79 of Little Rock, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson.
Services for Mrs. Carol Joy Lee will be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020 at Beulah Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Rev. Byron Howell and Rev. Gary Rivers will officiate.

Visitation will be 4-5 p.m. on Tuesday prior to service at Beulah Baptist Church.
Mrs. Carol Lee graduated from Beulah Hubbard High School in 1959. She was a stellar varsity basketball player and enjoyed many other extracurricular activities while in high school. Mrs. Lee later furthered her education by earning a nursing degree and eventually retired from Laird Hospital. She was beloved by her patients as she was a fierce advocate for them.
She was a dedicated wife of a career Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran.
Mrs. Lee was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and taught the Faithful Workers Sunday school class, which was a task that she did with great care and diligence. Additionally, she was an Auxiliary Member of the Gideons International.
Mrs. Carol Lee is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jesse May; three sisters, Faye Jenkins, Maxinee Alexander and Gloria Feinstein.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Clarence E. “Gene” Lee of Little Rock; two sons, Randall E. Lee (Michelle) of Decatur and Richard D. Lee (Lisa) of Collinsville; one daughter, Rebecca Harrison (Mike) of Union; nine grandchildren, Brooke Steele; Lana Lee; Brandie Lee; Alexander Lee (Rachel); Ashley Glover (David); Brandon Lee (Dezarae); Bryce Lee; Joshua Harrison (Julie) and Jeremiah Harrison (Candace); eight great grandchildren; one sister, Earline Harrison (Charlie) of Decatur; one brother, Willard May (Carolyn) of Petal.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Active pallbearers are four grandsons, Alexander Lee, David Glover, Bryce Lee and Brandon Lee; four nephews, Michael Alexander, Marty Alexander, Ricky Harrison and James May.
Honorary pallbearers are two grandsons, Joshua Harrison and Jeremiah Harrison; four nephews, Byron Alexander, Wayne May, Johnny Jenkins and Keith Jenkins.
