Mrs. Fay Weaver, age 87, passed away Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS. A visitation will be held at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020 from 5:30-7 p.m. and again on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020 from 12-12:50 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake, MS on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020 at 1 p.m. with burial to follow at Hazel Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Dale Henderson will officiate.
Mrs. Weaver had lived in Lake, MS since 1957. She was Baptist by faith and a member of Hazel Baptist Church of Lake, MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Christopher and Vida Comans; daughter in law, Nena Dansby; three brothers, L.V., Early and Ray Comans; three sisters, Essie Gardner, Roslyn Williams and Jackie Maxwell; her husband, Edward Lee Weaver.
She is survived by her daughter, Johnnie Ruth Sanders (Tommy) of Lake, MS; son, Charles Allen Dansby of Lake, MS; sister, Lois Jones of Gulfport, MS; sisters and brothers in law; Joe and Lenora Weaver, Charles and Patty Baucum, Juanita Comans, and Mary Thrash; four grandchildren, Linda Vance (Casey), Nancy Jones, Chancey Dansby and Nicole Pinter; six great grandchildren, Dalton Pinter, Alanna McKee, Colby Pinter, Abigail McKee, Kayleigh Vance and Hunter Mize.
Pallbearers are Jesse Alford, Chris Alford, Scotty Upton, Dalton Pinter, Chancey Dansby, Chad Hillman and Clay Upton. Honorary pallbearers are Hunter, Abigail, Colby, Alanna and Emily.
