Maegan Claire “Tator” Myers, born July 3, 2002, to William and Carri Myers, gained her heavenly angel wings on January 20, 2021, leaving behind her parents and sisters, Madalynn Myers, Mallory Spears (Wes), and Grace Myers.
She was a graduate of Newton County Class of 2020 and a current East Central Community College student where she was studying Forensic Science. She was involved in many extracurricular activities including, powerlifting, soccer, Beta Club, and FFA. She was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Decatur. Her smile lit up the room and her kindness was unmatched. It never failed for her to see the best in people. She enjoyed powerlifting, drawing and painting, photography, and taking care of her dog Jax. Although she was taken away to soon, her memory will live on through her family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Newton County Funeral Home-South in Newton, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Beulah Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Bro. Mark Vincent, Bro. Gary Rivers, Bro. Luke Howell and Bro.
