Mississippi Gas Prices Hold Steady at $2.44 as National Average Ticks Up

Average gasoline prices in Mississippi are unchanged in the last week, averaging $2.44/g today, according to GasBuddy's survey of 2,014 stations in Mississippi. Prices in Mississippi are 3.7 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 18.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

A “Thank you, Veterans!” banner was hoisted to acknowledge the sacrifices made as veterans continued down Cougar Cub Drive during the Veterans Honor Parade hosted by Newton County Elementary School this week. The Cougar Pride Marching Band under the leadership of Newton County High School Band Director Stacy Sanders led the way.
