Union’s Brayden Welch and Decatur’s Joiner Peoples recently who the Mississippi High School Rodeo Association team roping competition in Hattiesburg last week. The pair will advance to the National Finals in Rock Springs, Wyoming in July. Welch is a rising senior at Leake Academy, while Peoples is a rising senior at Newton County.
