NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, thunderstorms will span from the Florida
Panhandle up the East coast to southeastern Virginia. These
thunderstorms are expected to bring drenching downpours
that can reduce visibility and cause ponding on roads. They
also are capable of producing locally damaging wind gusts.
A storm moving across the Great Lakes will bring snow
showers from eastern Wisconsin and northeastern Illinois
into northern Indiana and Ohio, Michigan and eventually
northwestern Pennsylvania and Western New York by the
afternoon. These may producing a quick burst of snow that
could rapidly reduce visibility and leave a slushy coating
of snow on roads, which could be slippery. Much of the
middle of the country to the Northeast will experience
temperatures 5 to 15 degrees below historical averages.
