NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rain will drench the central and South Florida Peninsula and
the Florida Keys tomorrow. The rain be locally heavy and
wind-swept as an organizing tropical system crosses
south-central Florida throughout the day. Elsewhere, an area
of low pressure and associated cold front will cross through
New England and bring rain to much of Maine. Farther west, a
few thunderstorms are expected to rumble from the northern
and central Rockies to the central Plains. As one system
moves from eastern Washington and Oregon into Idaho and
western and central Montana, a more moisture-laden storm
will approach the West Coast. Rain is forecast to spread
into western Washington and western Oregon. The rain will
become locally heavy and spread farther inland overnight.
The Southwest will be dry and seasonably warm.
