The Nation's Weather for Thursday, July 7, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms are likely to develop tomorrow from Maryland
and Delaware to South Carolina. Some storms may turn severe
with damaging winds as a primary threat. Additional storms
are possible across the Midwest and Ohio Valley. Isolated
severe weather is also possible here, though it will be less
widespread than farther east. More seasonable storms are
expected along the Gulf coast and in Florida. High heat will
continue in the southern Plains and Southwest, keeping any
monsoon-driven showers very isolated. Farther north,
thunderstorms are likely to develop in central and eastern
Montana, with at least a few becoming severe. Damaging winds
and hail will be the main threats. Low clouds and a few
showers will be possible in the Pacific Northwest.
