The Nation's Weather for Thursday, January 13, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Much of the nation will have a dry day tomorrow. The only
exceptions will be a few flurries and snow showers around
the Great Lakes and interior Northeast; however, little in
the way of accumulation is expected. Some raindrops could
mix with the snow in central Illinois and southern Indiana.
In the warmer air farther to the south, nothing more than a
spotty rain shower is expected in parts of Kentucky and
Tennessee. Rain will not be as heavy as recently in the
Pacific Northwest, but a damp day is still expected in
western portions of Washington and Oregon. A bit of rain
could make it into eastern Washington and Oregon as well,
but precipitation will be spotty. Any snow should be light
and above pass level in the Cascades. Temperatures should be
at or above normal across the Lower 48.
