FOOTBALL: Newton county 40, sumrall 0 | Cougars extend win streak

Newton County football coach Bobby Bass, who is also the team’s defensive coordinator, went into last week’s game with Sumrall preparing for the Bobcats to throw the football 40 to 50 times.

But, Bass also warned his team that Sumrall coach Shannon White wasn’t scared to totally change his offense in the middle of the season.
