Bella Alexander of Little Rock served as a page for the Mississippi Senate. Pages generally run errands for officials and Senate staff. Bella is pictured with Lieutenant Governor C. Delbert Hosemann, Jr., and Senator Tyler McCaughn, who sponsored her visit. Bella is the daughter of Ben and Whitney Alexander and attends Newton County High School.
When asked about the week, Bella said, "I enjoyed getting an inside look at how the Senate operates by observing debates, committee meetings, and daily legislative procedures. Serving as a junior page allowed me to assist senators and staff while gaining firsthand experience in professionalism, responsibility, and teamwork. Overall, it was a rewarding opportunity that deepened my interest in government and civic engagement."
