ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that the City of Union will be accepting sealed bids for a Water & Sewer project. Sealed bids will be received at City Hall, 404 Bank Street, Union, Mississippi 39365, until 12:00 Noon on the 30th of December, 2021, for the following: • Install 8” gravity sewer – 220 LF • Install 12” steel casing for ditch crossing – 80 LF • Repair existing sewer main at project location • Tie into existing manhole • Install new sewer service tap – 6x4 WYE • Install new man hole with flat top • Fill sand for bedding line and project location repair – 100 CY • 610 limestone – 40 Tons • Asphalt repairs – 15 Tons • Install 6” valve insertion for cast iron pipe • Relocate ¾ of the water service for project location – 75 LF • Install two 6” mega lug caps on cast iron pipe • Haul off spoil material from dig site The Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Union, Mississippi, reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
