SHOW BARN BID
The Newton County Board of Supervisors will receive written, sealed bids at the office of the Chancery Clerk in the courthouse in Decatur, Mississippi, until 10:00 A.M. on Monday, August 7, 2023, with bids to be opened shortly thereafter.
The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, man lifts, scaffolding, or other provisions deemed necessary to perform the scope of work provided in the following description. The Contractor shall be licensed, insured and bonded to do the scope of work they are bidding on. The Contractor is responsible for cleaning up after themselves on a daily basis and also keeping in consideration the presence of upcoming events.
Electrical: Remove and replace 40 High Bay fixtures. Remove and replace 8 1,000-watt pole mount and fixtures.
Painting: Sandblast, waterblast, scraping, sanding, sealing, priming and painting structural steel, block walls, ceilings and other structural components, six metal doors, frames and bleachers.
The right to reject any and all bids is hereby reserved by the Board of Supervisors. All bids shall be marked “Sealed Bid - Newton County Show Barn Bid” on the outside of the envelope. Bids should be submitted through the Chancery Clerk’s Office, Newton County Courthouse, P.O. Box 68, 92 W Broad St., Decatur, MS 39327.
