SIXTEENTH SECTION LAND
RECLASSIFICATION
The Board of Trustees of the Union Public School District hereby gives notice of the reclassification of the following Sixteenth Section Public School Trust Land from Forestry to Other classification.
Section 16, Township 8 North, Range 11 East
Commence at the Southeast corner of the SE ¼ of SE ¼ of Section 16, Township 8 North, Range 11 East, Newton County, Mississippi; thence run West a distance of 330.91 feet; thence run North 768.49 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence run South 60 degrees 47 minutes 24 seconds West, 250.00 feet; thence run North 40 degrees 43 minutes 10 seconds West, 210.63 feet to a point of the South right-of-way of Spring Hill Road; thence run along said right-of-way North 85 degrees 04 minutes 39 seconds East, 31.75 feet; thence continue along said right-of-way South 88 degrees 06 minutes 53 seconds East, 71.92 feet; thence continue along said right-of-way South 84 degrees 13 minutes 59 seconds East, 67.37 feet; thence continue along said right-of-way North 89 degrees 21 minutes 58 seconds East, 61.10 feet; thence continue along said right-of-way North 83 degrees 47 minutes 20 seconds East, 47.92 feet; thence continue along said right-of-way North 81 degrees 21 minutes 56 seconds East, 37.75 feet; thence leaving said right-of-way run South 40 degrees 43 minutes 10 seconds East, 56.80 feet to the Point of Beginning, being a part of the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 16, Township 8 North, Range 11 East, Newton County, Mississippi, containing 0.72 acre more or less.
Any interested party desiring to object to this reclassification must submit such objection in writing to the Chancery Clerk of Newton County on or before 5:00 p.m. on the 18th day of September, 2021.
