Mrs. Ann Page Therrien, 85 of Newton, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at her residence. She was born Wednesday, October 26, 1938 in Newton, Mississippi.
Visitation was held on Monday, June 17, 2024 from 10:30 A.M. until 12:15 P.M. at Newton County Funeral Home - South in 100 Old Highway 15 Loop, Newton, MS. Funeral services were held on Monday, June 17, 2024 at 12:30 P.M. at Newton County Funeral Home - South. Burial followed in Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, Mississippi. Bro. Steve Robinson officiated. Newton County Funeral Home - South was in charge of arrangements.
She was a Newton County native and a graduate of Newton High School. Her professional career was spent at La-Z-Boy South for over 25 years. She loved sewing, camping and riding motorcycles, as well traveling in the motorhome and cruising. Mrs. Ann loved her children and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, whom she loved dearly, Armand Joseph "Frenchie" Therrien, Sr.; one daughter, Roseanne Therrien McCullough; father, Joe Wagner; mother, Nancy Henderson Wagner; one brother, Eddie Wagner; two half-brothers, Sidney Wagner and Johnny Wagner and one half-sister, Lela Baucum.
Survivors include her sons, Armand Therrien, Jr. (Jackie) of Newton and David Therrien (Jennifer) of Little Rock; daughter, Barbara Therrien Nelson (Gene) of Newton; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Armand Therrien Jr., David Therrien, Steve Kelly, and Sean Hillman.
Honorary pallbearer was Scott Therrien.
Special music was performed by Sean Hillman.
