Mr. Stagg was born in Vicksburg Mississippi, to Earl Franklyn and Lucille Stagg, Sr, but was a long time resident of Newton county. He was known and loved by many family and friends. He was blessed to have passed away peacefully at home among family.
Survivors include wife, Nancy Ann McWilliams Stagg of Newton, MS; two sons, Justin Stagg (Erica) and Matthew Stagg of Newton, MS; mother, Lucille Griffin Stagg of Louisville, MS; siblings, Carolyn Tremaine of George West, TX, Earl Stagg Jr. (Buddy) of Conehatta, MS, Tom Stagg (Mary Lou) of Encinal, TX, Jerry Stagg (Elizabeth) of Forest, MS, Alisha Knowles of Newton,MS, Belinda Winters (Eddie) of Louisville, MS; sister-in-law, Tina Payne Stagg of South Carolina; grandchildren, Jesstin, Eli, Jaxson Stagg of Zwolla, LA, Maykh, Myles, Mytchell, Peyton and Mykinlee of Newton, MS. He also leaves behind a host of nephews and nieces.
Mr Stagg was preceded in death by his father, Earl Franklyn Stagg Sr, of Newton County; brothers, Patrick O’Neal Stagg of Vicksburg, MS and Jeffery Lloyd Stagg of Terrell,TX.
