George Noble Logan Jr. (George Jr.), age 95, passed away on July 11, 2024, at Baptist Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, MS. George was born November 22, 1928 in Lawrence, MS. George was the husband of Rosie Lee Owens-Logan; celebrating over 75 years of marriage and the parents of ten children. He was a lifelong resident of Logan Road in Lawrence, MS. George was a beloved, well-known and respected figure in his community and surrounding areas.
A Celebration of Life & Legacy of George Noble Logan Jr. will be held Thursday, July 18, 2024, 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 196 County Road 2355, Lawrence, MS. A public viewing will be held, Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 3-6 P.M. at Dunlap & Thames Funeral Home, 103 New Ireland St., Newton, MS.
