David Kendal Dearman, 51, of Union, Miss. passed away on March 15, 2021 at U.A.B.
Visitation was held Saturday, March 20, 2021, after 5 p.m. at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 21, 2021, 3 p.m. at the Stonewall Assembly of God Church, with Rev. Ed Shoemaker and Rev. Billy Brumfield officiating. The body was taken to the church for visitation at 2 p.m.
Burial took place in the Stonewall Cemetery.
He was born on Nov. 13, 1969 to Byron and Jo (Elmore) Dearman in Wayne County, Miss.
David was an avid outdoorsman that loved spending time hunting, fishing and collecting shooting firearms. He was a loving husband, son, father and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed eating with his family and friends. He was a heart transplant survivor.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Brantley Smith; maternal grandparents, John F. and Louvenia "Big Mama" Elmore; paternal grandparents, Henry Lamar and Katie Mae Dearman; special friend, William Lee.
David is survived by his parents, Byron and Jo Dearman; wife, Angelia Dearman; sons, Kyle (Peyton) Dearman, Jacob Dearman, Bailey McDill and Ethan McDill; daughters, Morgan (Mark) Smith and Ayden McDill; sister, Candy (Nathan) McDaniel; grandchildren, Wyatt May, Wrenleigh Smith, Watson Smith, Colby Smith, Alex Smith and Kole Dearman; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Sue Cockerham; brother-in-law, Brent (Chasity) Cockerham; nieces and nephews, Ollie Kate McDaniel, Cade (Bailey)Gibson, Khloe Cockerham, Kolton Cockerham, Karter Cockerham, Cash Cockerham and Chase Cockerham; several uncles, aunts and extended family. Pallbearers were Luke Atkins, Victor Touchstone, Don Coleman, Wayne Mayo, Troy Smith, Kelly Alderman, Ty Alderman, Ethan McDill, Bruce Bonner and Wyatt May.
