Services for Mr. Bernell Page were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at McClain-Hays Chapel with Rev. Bill Raines officiating.
Burial followed in Mount Olive Cemetery in the House community. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Page, 84, died Thursday, June 28, 2018, at his home. He was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of the House community. He retired from Flintkote in Meridian after 32 years, and was also a farmer. Mr. Page was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church in the House community where he formerly taught Sunday School and was a
cemetery committee member.
Survivors include his children, Dwight (Linda) Page, Sandy (Joey) Walters, Glenn (Rita) Page; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; wife, Elaine Page; her children, Kathy (Mike) Farmer and James (Larraine) Buntyn; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild, all of House; numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
He was preceded in death by wife, Deanie, parents, Jack and Ethel Page; two sisters; five brothers; and one step-granddaughter, Niki Walters.
Pallbearers were Jerry Goforth, David Alexander, Dusty Page, Adam Thrash, Freddie Wilson and Keith Page.
Honorary pallbearers were Terry Penson, Jerry Winstead, Jerry Gammill and Mike Farmer.
