Mr. Billy Anderson Archie, a resident of Lake, was born Sept. 25, 1953 in Frankfurt, Germany to his parents, the late Mac Burnie and Mary Lee Cooksey Archie. He passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the University of Alabama Medical Center at Birmingham at the age of 65.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Mrs. Christie Archie of Lake; three children, Billy McLloyd Archie of San Antonio, Texas; Sarah Archie of Vicksburg and Anna Archie of Picayune; one sister, Terrie Jacobs of Lake; one brother, Timmy Archie, also of Lake; six grandchildren; one niece and one nephew also survive.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and one brother, William Arvis Gibbs.
Military graveside services were Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest assisted the Archie family in planning service details.
