Services for Mr. Billy Joe Warren were held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union. Bro. Tyler Tingle and Bro. Lynn Wedgeworth officiated with burial in Golden Grove Cemetery.
Visitation was held 5-8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4 at Milling Funeral Home of Union. Milling Funeral Home of Union was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years, Rita Warren of Union; three sons, Brad Warren and wife, Meagan; Tim Warren and wife, Sommer; and Tony Warren and wife, Joanna; all of Union; seven grandchildren, Katie Warren, Bryce Warren, Lexie Page, Beau Warren, Levi Warren, Oaklee Warren and Cooper Warren; mother, Kate Warren of Union; sister, Patricia Phillips and husband, Tony, of Union; and brother, James “Pee Wee” Warren of Union.
He will always be remembered as a hard-working man. He enjoyed working in the woods, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Mr. Warren is preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Warren; sister, Barbara Warren; and brother, Bobby “Buck” Warren.
Pallbearers were Jimmy Dale Averette, Keith Page, Bo Welch, Jeff Johnson, Tom Barnett and Lynn Rigdon.
