Graveside services for Mr. Billy Joe Watkins Sr. were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29 at Union City Cemetery.
Visitation was held from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at Milling Funeral Home of Union.
Billy Joe Watkins Sr, 82, passed away peacefully, Thursday, April 26, 2018, at River Birch Assisted Living in Union.
Billy Joe was born June 20, 1935, in Kitchener. He was an accomplished retired carpenter who could build and fix anything. He was a friend to all who knew him. Always having a positive and grateful outlook.
Billy Joe is survived by his daughter, Sabrina Mabry; and two sons, Billy Joe Watkins Jr., and his wife, Marley, and Albert F. Usry. His grandchildren are Hollie and Benjamin Collins, parents to Eli and Kipton, and Crystal and Tracy Rockhold, parents to Ashleigh.
He is preceded in death by parents, Joe B. Watkins (Paw) and Willie Mae Hardin Watkins (Maw).
The family would like to thank River Birch Assisted living and staff for the amazing care they provided and the community of Union.
