Bro. Billie G. Nichols, age 83 passed away on Saturday April 27, 2019 at MS State Veterans home in Kosciusko, Miss. Visitation was held 5 - 7 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, Miss., and Monday, April 29 at Lake Christian Church from 12:30 – 12:50 p.m. Funeral Services were held Monday, April 29 at 1 p.m. at Lake Christian Church in Lake. Bro. David Mabry and Bro. John Cash officiated.
Bro. Billie resided in Conehatta, Miss., for the past 52 years. He was a member of Lake Christian Church in Lake. He was instrumental in getting the MS Christian Service Camp started in Decatur. He was a pharmacist and former owner of Super Discount Drugs in Newton and worked for many years at Moore’s Pharmacy in Walnut Grove, Miss. He loved spending time with his family.
Bro. Billie Nichols was preceded in death by his first wife, Joann Nichols; and his son, Kevin Nichols. He is survived by his wife, Gale Nichols of Conehatta; his two sons, Ken Nichols (Lynn) of Meridian and Kris Nichols (Genieveve) of Conehatta; daughter Karen Reece (Weyman) of Conehatta; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Rucker, Brandon Reece, Nick Reece, Taylor Nichols, Dylan Nichols and Weyman Reece. Honorary Pallbearers were Charles Evans and Andrew Nichols.
