Services for Ms. Catherine Blackwell will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union with burial in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. Bros. Byron Howell and Gary Rivers will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Milling Funeral Home of Union.
Ms. Blackwell, 94, of Decatur died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017, at Laird Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Bob Blackwell and his wife, Toni and James Blackwell and his wife Thelma all of Decatur; a daughter, Margie Barrow and her husband, Bobby, of Black Creek, Ga.; and a daughter-in-law, Donna Blackwell of Vicksburg.
She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ms. Blackwell was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Blackwell; and two sons, William Blackwell and Ronnie Blackwell.
Pallbearers will be Randal Huey, Clint Huey, Wayne Lanier, Elton Bryan, Randall Lee and Glenn Harrison.
Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons.
Milling Funeral Home of Union is in charge of the arrangements.
