Eileen Green, 69, of Newton, passed away Thursday, Oct. 25, at her residence in Newton. She was born Sunday, June 5, 1949 in Philadelphia, Pa.
Ms. Eileen, also known as “Earleen” to her family, was known for her strong faith and spiritual beliefs, and for teaching others about God’s will for over 45 years. She was a member of The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses of Newton. She was an avid lover of music and dance. She always loved to laugh, and her laughter brought a smile to everyone’s face.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horton Green Sr. and Anlizar Closs Green; sisters, Linda Green Stroud and Julia Ann Green; brother, Michael Green Sr.; and her granddaughter, Brianna Green.
Survivors include her children, Shellie Green Nash (Walter), Michael Keith Green and Dr. Tiffanie Steward Deloach (Brad); sisters, Barbara Ingram, Juanita Ford and Betty Jean Green; brothers, Richard Green (Sharon) and Horton Green Jr.; uncle, Raymond Green; aunt, Grace Hargrove; grandchildren, Nicole Nash, Jade Nash, Walter E. Nash, Michael Green, Kyre Green, Genesis Green, Destiny Green, Deleon Green, Tyhaiyrah Green and Diahvionne Deloach; and great-grandchildren, Aubrey Damon, Navoni Green and Ja’sier Freeman.
