Services for Ms. Estelle Dearing Killen were held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Pine Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Bro. Rusty Walton, Dr. Malcom Lewis and Bro. Lin Chesney officiated.
Visitation was held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, June 4 at Milling Funeral Home of Union and one hour prior to service at the church on Wednesday.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Killen of Union; daughter, Lisa Smith and husband, Barry, of Union; granddaughter Lauren Pogue and husband, Jeremy Pogue, of Collinsville; three great grandchildren, Kennedy Pogue, Landi Jo Pogue and Brooklee Pogue; sisters, Cassie McCoy of Forest and Eloise Bennett of Indiana; special nephew, Doyle Wolverton and wife, Linda, of Carthage; sister-in-law, Dorothy Dearing; and a special friend she called her “oldest son,” Don Springer of Huntsville, AL
Ms. Killen was preceded in death by her Husband, Kenneth Killen; parents, H.E. and Georgia Dearing; four brothers and three sisters.
Pallbearers were Chris Collins, Patrick Croswell, Michael Reynolds, Mike Thorne, Danny Russell, James Bryam and David Ray Hardy
Honorary Pallbears were Adult 6 SS Class members Bill Wheatly, Dr. Duane Stokes, Billy Butler and Dr. Dwight Keady.
