Graveside services for Mr. Howard Glen Robinson were conducted at 3 p.m. Monday, July 3 at Pine Ridge Cemetery at Lawrence under the direction of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Forest. The Rev. Ken McLemore officiated.
There was no visitation.
Robinson was born in Newton County on Jan. 22, 1937, to his parents Hubert E. and Estell Thompson Robinson. He was a resident of Ellisville State School for 15 years and the Hudspeth Center at Whitfield for more than 50 years. He passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017, at The Oaks Cottage at Hudspeth at the age of 80 years, five months and 10 days.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert E. and Estell T. Robinson; and one brother, Hubert E. Robinson Jr.
Survivors include his brother, Jessie Irvin Robinson and his wife, Carolyn L. Robinson of Lawrence; and one nephew, Troy and Loria Robinson and their children of Melbourne, Fla.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff of Hudspeth Center for their love and care for their loved one for the many years he resided there.
