Janie Langham, 92, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018, at her residence in Little Rock.
Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 1 at Newton County Funeral Home-North. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 2 at Greenland Baptist Church in Little Rock.
Visitation at the church will be held 30 minutes prior to service time. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Bros. Justin Chaney and Ed Tatum will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home-North is in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Langham was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Lee Langham; a daughter, Judy Williamson; her parents, Rufus and Clennie Chisolm; a sister, Voilene Adkins; four brothers, Cobert, Wilton, Roger Lee, and Barney Chisolm; two sons-in-law, Jerry Winstead and Dickey Williamson; a grandson, Keith Williamson; a great-granddaughter, Jae-Leigh McRee.
She is survived by her children, Mary Geeslin (John), Faye Terrell (David), Wanda Chaney (Eugene) and Jeff Langham; nine grandchildren, David Winstead (Kathy), Wade Winstead (Stacy), Allen Terrell (Heidi), Jamie Terrell (Stacy), Lesley Williamson, Brad Williamson (Natasha), Jeremy Chaney (Brandi), Justin Chaney (Jessica), and Jennifer Gressett (Allen); 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a special caregiver, Tina Chisolm.
Pallbearers were David Winstead, Wade Winstead, Allen Terrell, Jamie Terrell, Jeremy Chaney, Brad Williamson and Peyton Chaney.
Honorary pallbearers were Billy Chisolm, Earl Cumberland, Ben Humphreys, Bernard Rigdon, Hastings Westbrook and Justin McRee.
