Mr. Jimmy E. Ware, 83, passed away on Monday Nov. 6, 2017, at the Bedford Care Center in Newton. Visitation will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 8 at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake and again from 2-2:50 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 at Salem Baptist Church in Lake. Funeral Services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 at Salem Baptist Church with the Revs. Kent Grice, Larry Duncan and William Savell officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Ware was a lifelong resident on Lake and was a member of the Salem Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish. He also loved his church family and spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Davis and Annie Wolfe Ware; two brothers, Jessie and Bill Ware; one sister, Peggy Ware; and one grandchild, John Ware.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Ware of Lake; one daughter, Sarah Federick (Jeff) of Newton; two sons, Danny Ware (Connie) and Steve Ware (Cindy) both of Lake; Godchild, Xavia Wilkerson of Sevierville, Tenn.; his twin brother, Bennie Ware ( Maude) of Forest; a brother, Ed Ware of Lake; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Federick, Mark Ware, Matt Ware, Cameron Heard, Boyd Ware, and Greg Ware.
