Joyce Eleanor Cochran, 79, of Newton, MS, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019 at her home.
Visitation was held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, 2019 at Newton County Funeral Home- North with funeral services immediately following. Bro. Dan Henry officiated. Burial took place in Newton County Memorial Gardens. Newton County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200
Mrs. Joyce loved her family and loved the Lord. Her desire was for her family to have a personal relationship with him. She will truly be missed by all that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mason and Zena Mae Baucum; husbands, Henry Brown and Ray Cochran; children: Patricia Reeves, Danny Brown and Bobby Brown; and grandchildren, Jason Paul Gibbs and Bryan Keith Cook.
Survivors include her children, Debbie Terrell, Linda Gibbs, Charles Brown and Nancy Brown; grandchildren, Adam Terrell (Bethany), Jennifer Palmer (Kevin), Summer Deanne Gibbs, Brandon Kent Estes, Cameron Nicole Estes, Henry Tyler Brown and Angela Cook Shelby (James); 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were James Shelby, Kaleb Shelby, Joe Baucum, Lee Palmer, John Strickland, and Robbie Strickland.
