Funeral services for Mary Virginia Boulton Cleveland were held 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, at the Newton County Funeral Home-South. Pastor Bill Boulton officiated with internment following in the Decatur City Cemetery.
Mrs. Cleveland, of Houston, Texas, passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, after a lengthy illness. She fought a valiant fight every day.
A resident of Houston since 1964, Mrs. Cleveland is preceded in death by her husband, William Boyd Cleveland, Sr.; parents, Aaron A. Boulton and Kittie Mae Williams Boulton; and brother, Charles Aaron Boulton.
She is survived by a son, William Boyd Cleveland, Jr. and wife, Nan Brandau Cleveland, of Houston; three brothers, Samuel Boulton and wife, Barbara, of Maydelle, Texas, William Boulton and wife, Linda, of Heidelberg, Miss. and Richard Boulton of Cheyenne, WY; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved very much.
Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at Newton County Funeral Home-South.
