Graveside services for Ms. Maurice B. Cooksey were held Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 at Union City Cemetery. Bro. Ben Laird, Dr. Jon Martin and Bro. Howard Gaston officiated.
Visitation was held 1-1:45 p.m., Monday at Milling Funeral Home of Union.
Ms. Cooksey, 90, of Union, died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her son, Wayne Cooksey and wife, Donna, of Union; and step-grandson, Joey Jimmerson.
Ms. Cooksey was preceded in death by her parents, John and Lena Brunson; husband , Leon Cooksey; three brothers, Glen Brunson, Cubby Brunson and John Mac Brunson; and one sister, Pauline Tullos.
Pallbearers were Donny Cleveland, Harold Cleveland, Jerry Russell, James Smith, Dr. Jim Bennett and Wayne Welch.
Milling Funeral Home of Union was in charge of the arrangements.
