Services for Mr. Nemus McElhenney were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery. Bro. Rusty Walton officiated.
Visitation was held 5-7 p.m. Monday, July 29.
Mr. Nemus McElhenney, 81, of Decatur, died Saturday, July 27, 2019.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret McElhenney of Decatur; son, Stanley McEhenney and wife, Wilagene, of Broken Arrow, OK; two grandchildren, Daniel McElhenney of Norman, OK and Alison Dodson and husband, Trevor, of Springdale, AR; niece, Michelle McElhenney of Decatur; and two nephews Ray McElhenney and wife, Angela, of Decatur and Ricky McElhenney and wife, LeAnne, of Decatur.
Mr. Nemus is preceded in death by parents, Dessie McElhenney and Annie Ruth McElhenney; and two brothers, John Amos McElhenney and Granville McElhenney.
Pallbearers were Eddie Stamper, Barkley Cooksey, Bubba Addy, Thomas Knight, Jake Addy, Kyle Pace and Jeff Cater.
Honorary Pallbearers were Clark Milling, Wayne Pinter, Kenneth Rigdon, Ronnie Crocker and Allen Terrell.
