Services for Mr. Oma Adron Pierce were held 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Rusty Walton and Rev. Lin Chesney officiated.
Visitation was held 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at Milling Funeral Home of Union and 1:30-2 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Mr. Pierce, 79, of Collinsville, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018 at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Pierce of Collinsville; daughter, Pam Kimery of Olive Branch; grandchildren, Anna Katherine Pickle and husband, Ross, of Starkville and Thomas Pierce Hurst of Olive Branch; sisters, Patsy Pierce Carey and husband, Lynn, of Union, Jeanette Tindol Rigdon and husband, Bernard, of Decatur and Margie Billow of Meridian; brother, Dwight Pierce and wife, Wanda, of Collinsville; and great-grandchildren, Kinsley Hurst, GracieAnn Hurst and Margaret Pickle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Pierce was preceded in death by parents, Oma and Ruby Pierce, and one brother, Lelon Pierce.
Pallbearers were George Carey, Julius Tindol, Cramer Pierce, Jerry Burk, Jerry Goforth and Billy Pierce.
Honorary Pallbearers were Gary Walton, Earl Pierce, Quinton Goforth and Austin Tindol.
Milling Funeral Home of Union was in charge of the arrangements.
