Services for Ms. Pat Addy were held 12 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 at Decatur United Methodist Church with burial in the Decatur City Cemetery. Rev. Bruce Taylor and Rev. Susannah Carr officiated.
Visitation was held 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Decatur United Methodist Church.
Ms. Addy, 79, of Decatur, died Sunday Nov. 25, 2018 at her residence. She served as Newton County Tax Assessor for eight years.
Survivors include her daughter, Brookes Stevens and husband, Ricky, of Decatur; son, David Addy of Decatur; grandson, Jeremy Stevens of Ocean Springs; granddaughter, Lindsey Stevens Blount and husband, Jody, of Union; great-grandchildren, Manny Stevens and Easton Blount; brother, Jacky Blackburn and wife, Sheryl, of Tupelo; and sister, Sandy Anthony and husband, Mike, of Ocean Springs.
Ms. Addy was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Addy; parents, A.J. and Elizabeth Blackburn; and sisters, Sue Ferguson and Janie Rainer.
Pallbearers were Chris Harris, Dickie Blackburn, Gary Lofton, Wayne Comans, Larry Addy, Jimmy Addy and John Blount.
Honorary Pallbearers were Scott Round, Butch Meaders and Terry McMullan.
Milling Funeral Home of Union was in charge of the arrangements.
