Patsy Ruth Black, 67, of Union, died Monday, Oct. 8, at Laird Hospital in Union, Mississippi. She was born Friday, September 21, 1951 in Meridian, Mississippi.
Visitation were held 10-11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at the Newton County Funeral Home- North. Funeral Services were held Thursday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m. at Newton County Funeral Home- North and the burial followed in Rock Branch Cemetery. Bro. Danny Chaney officiated. Black was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Lois Stevens; brothers, Charles ‘BB’ Stevens, Bobby Ray Stevens and Ruben A. Stevens.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth L. Black; children, Tony Terrell (Libby) and Kim Minshew (Flint); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Williams, Tommie Jane Reese, Elmer Jenkins (Larry) and Rosie Burt (Dan); and brother, Danny Stevens.
Pallbearers were Joshua Terrell, Hunter Terrell, Michael Castillo, Robert Black, James Raley and Bobbie Joe Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Tony Terrell and Flint Minshew.
