Patsy Ruth Jones, 75, of Hickory, Miss., passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Sumter Health and Rehabilitation in York, Ala. She was born Friday, March 10, 1944 in Chunky, Miss.
Visitation was held Saturday, June 8, 2019 from 9-10 a.m. at the Newton County Funeral Home-North. Graveside Services followed at 10:30 a.m. at Chunky Cemetery. Bro. Jack Kern officiated. Newton County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. (601) 635-3200
Patsy retired from East Mississippi State Hospital in Meridian, Miss., after 28 years of service.She was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Frances Jones; and her brother, Wayne Jones.
Survivors include brother, Donald Jones (Linda); sister, Carolyn Burks (Charles); sister-in-law, Sara Jones; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Dusty Jones, Ronnie Thrash, Joey Etheridge and Chad Jones.
