Services for Ms. Sallie Vance Jones, 89, of Union will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6 at the Reid Chapel Church of God with burial in the Reid Chapel Church Cemetery. The Revs. H.L. Rhodes and Harmon Smith and Bro. Don Cook will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 5 at Milling Funeral Home of Union.
Mrs. Sallie Jones, 89, of Union passed away Nov. 4, 2017, at the J. G. Alexander Nursing Home.
Survivors include a son, Randall Jones and his wife, Mona of Union; a daughter, Shirley McKee and her husband, Leslie Gates of Meridian; four grandchildren, Monica Moore (Brobby) of Union, Jason Jones (April) of Weatherford, Texas, Marty McKee of Sebastopol, and Shanna McCullough (Debbie) of Missouri.
She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and other family members.
Ms. Sallie Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Jones; her parents, Zeb and Mattie Vance; two grandsons, Billy Jo Jones and Joey Lee McKee; and five siblings, Robert, Hagan, Oren, Syble, and Jerry.
Pallbearers will be Charles Moulds, Milton Vance, Petty Leach, Bobby Moore, Jerry Simpson, and Gwen Goss.
