Mrs. Sylvia Ann Roland, 72, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the St. Dominic Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. Visitation was held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:50 p.m. Friday May 4 at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 4 at the Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake with the Rev. Carl Randall officiating. Graveside services were held at 4:30 p.m. in the Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko with interment following. Wolf Funeral Services in Lake was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Roland had lived in Lake for the past 55 years. She was a member of the Hillsboro Baptist Church in Forest. She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with her friends. She loved spending time with her grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Roland; her parents, Jesse O. and Mary Louise Edwards Randall; three brothers, Jesse, Billy and Frankie Randall; and an infant sister, Vivian Randall.
She is survived by her daughters, Judy Taylor (Patrick Talbot) of Canton and Tammy Hollingsworth of Clinton; two grandchildren, Benjamin Taylor Hollingsworth (Erin Morin Hollingsworth) and Marshall Denver Hollingsworth; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Pallbearers were John Logan, Rob Taylor, Carl Wolfe, Tony Wolf, Terry Maner and Chad Hollingsworth. Honorary pallbearers were Benjamin Taylor Hollingsworth and Marshall Denver Hollingsworth.
