Funeral Services for Mrs. Billie Jean Spence Cleveland were held at 2pm, Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Union.
Burial followed at Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church Cemetery.
Bro. William Savell and Bro. Mark McDonald officiated.
Visitation was held 1-2 pm prior to the services at Milling Funeral Home in Union.
Mrs. Cleveland, 95, passed away Monday January 12, 2026.
Survivors include three sons, Calvin Cleveland (Cindy), Craig Cleveland (Michelle) and Randy Cleveland (Nina); numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Cleveland is also survived by a host of nieces and one nephew.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Billy James Cleveland; one grandson; one brother, Wilmer Spence and one sister, Shirley Glenn and her parents, William Samuel and Macie Chaney Spence.
Serving as pallbearers were Lucas Cleveland, Houston Cleveland, Eric Cleveland, Josh McDonald, Miles McDonald, and Zander Bounds.
Mrs. Billie was a devoted member of Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church, where she faithfully served The Lord. She was a devoted and caring homemaker who loved babysitting and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
The Cleveland family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Mt. Zion Cemetery Association, Attn: Janet Terrell, 1359 Mt. Zion Rd., Union, MS 39365.
Milling Funeral Home of Union was in charge of the arrangements.
