Funeral services for Don Elliott will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. from Enon Baptist Church with the Rev. Kelly Tingle officiating. Burial will follow in Golden Grove Cemetery in Union. Visitation will be held from 5:30 until 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2024 ,at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.
Mr. Elliott, 92, of Lakeland, Fla., died Monday, Jan. 1, 2024. Mr. Don was a native of Indianapolis, Ind., and a longtime resident of Florida. He was employed for many years at Woolworth and Wal-Mart and served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Mr. Elliott was a member of McGregor Baptist Church in Ft. Myers, Fla.
Survivors include his daughters, Patricia Ann Clark (Herman); Janice Lee Libardoni (Pete) and Linda Gail Maere (Rick); son, Don Elliott, III (Shea); nine grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Elliott was preceded in death by his wife, Dephynee Elliott; parents, Don and Elenora Elliott.
