Hugh McDaniel England, age 69, of Newton passed away on February 20, 2025 at Baptist Anderson Hospital.
He was a house painter by profession. He was a member of Newton Global Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, cards & watching cooking channels.
He was preceded in death by his father, John England; mother, Julia Frances England; sister, Elizabeth McCarty and step-son, Daniel William Sunstone.
Survivors include wife of 47 years, Victoria Midkiff England; son, Hugh England Jr.; daughters, Debbie (Chris) Polome’, Jennifer Klevenow; step-son, Mark Lawrence Sunstone; siblings, John G. England, Thomas (Cindy) England, Frances England, Janice (Gerald) Mills of Newton, Barbara (Gary) Benford, Thelma Schull of VA, Vivian (Paul) Stuart of W.V. and a host of grand-children, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr England was cremated and family will have a celebration of his life.
