Services for Mrs. Laquita Jordan were held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 01, 2026 at Hudson Chapel Church of God. Bro. Leray Evans and Bro. Paul Jordan officiated. Burial was held in church cemetery.
Visitation was held 2-3p.m. prior to church service at Hudson Chapel Church of God.
Mrs. Jordan, age 73, of Union, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Ms. Laquita was a member of Hudson Chapel Church of God. She worked in the medical field for 25 years at Laird Hospital and Hilltop Nursing Home, where she was recognized several times for her outstanding work. Ms. Laquita will be remembered for having an open heart and open home for all her friends, family, and animals.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Wayne Jordan of Union; one son, Johnny Ray Jordan; two grandsons, Austin Jordan of Union and Lincoln Jordan of Columbus; one granddaughter, Scarlett Jordan of Hawaii; one sister, Annette Green (Bobby) of Sebastopol; one brother, Sherman Stephens (Vickie) of Sebastopol; two brothers-in-law, Paul Jordan of Walnut Grove and Johnny Jordan of Tampa FL.; one sister-in-law, Nell Tune of Colorado. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Jordan is preceded in death by her parents, Oree and Frances Stephens; son, Frankie Jordan; brother, Russell Stephens; four brothers-in-law, Eddie Jordan, Neal Jordan, Keith (Bo) Jordan and Art Jordan, and five sisters-in-law, Joanne Jordan, Effie Mitchem, Dorothy Jordan, Nancy Jordan and Yolanda Jordan.
Pallbearers were Austin Jordan, Lincoln Jordan, Kerry Jordan, Dale Thompson, Joe Green and Billy Wayne Dickerson
