Lois Aleene Ozborn of Milton, FL passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the age of 95. She was born on February 12, 1929, in Illinois to Melva and Lyle Johnson. She was the wife of Claud Ozborn who preceded her in death in 2009. She was survived by four daughters, Vicki Ozborn, Judy Ruzycki, Virginia Maedgen and Barbara Sweeney and preceded in death by a son, Eddy Ozborn in 2004. She had many descendants in grandchildren and had many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Aleene had a business in Union called Aleen’s which sold fine gifts, hobbies, and craft supplies. Her and her husband owned a tree farm in Union and were active in the forestry service. They were members of Bluff Springs Church for 40 years. She was known in the Union community as an Energizer Bunny and was involved in serving the community. Her and Claud were active in the Neshoba Community Center. Her gravesite funeral will be held in Union, MS in October with only family attending.
